Why don’t some activities include a text excerpt?

Some activities, such as literal comprehension activities, do not include the text excerpt in Mojo. The decision to include a reader panel is based on the length of the text being covered. When the excerpt is manageable, a reader panel is included.

However, when an entire chapter or longer passage is needed, the text is too long to display well in the reader panel. In these cases, students are expected to reference their own copy of the book or resource provided by their teacher.
