Why can't I see all of my students in the dashboard even though they're working on the same assignment?

If a student appears gray in the dashboard, it may be because:

• They haven't started the activity yet
• They entered a different section's class code

Once a student opens the scheduled activity using the correct class code, their name will appear in black (bolded) in the roster.

If a student is present in class but doesn't appear in the roster:

1. Have them confirm they're logged into the correct account
2. Make sure they're using the correct class code
3. Ensure they've clicked into the activity
4. If students are sharing devices, confirm they're logged out of any previous student's account
